Does anyone have the Longhorn Server version of remote desktops or know where to get it? Or can you fool current Windows 2003 Adminpak to install ? Thanks Dave

Remote Desktops
I tried copying and pasting it from Longhorn Server to XP but I've screwed up my current Remote Desktop on my XP machine ;o) Fixed it by copying the files from another XP machine mind - but if you change some of the settings on the mstsc.exe file on your server, you should be able to connect with older clients.
Does that answer your question?

As far as I can see right now from my Longhorn Server 5308 install, Remote Desktops is available under Administrative Tools (Control Panel - Classic) or from Start menu. I can also access Remote desktop from Start > All Programs > Accessories > Communication. -- -- Andre Windows Connect | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta

Unfortunately that's against the terms and conditions for us Connect users - we're not allowed to distribute parts of Vista, or the downloads itself. I asked a friend on the team, she said "definate no no".
If you try and repair the installation, or ask a Connect friend, I'm sure they'll help out.

Nope - you're not allowed to distribute media to those outside the beta. If someone you know is on the beta but can't download it, you can lend them a copy no worries.
